NEON
revolution

From a giant Irish green neon pub sign, to a delicate two-tone rose custom creation, Neon Revolution rides on a viral wave of authentic handmade and electric glass pieces, rich with pop culture and history.

Molly Rae, Let There Be Neon Studio Manager

A neon renaissance is sweeping the globe as a younger generation of influencers, digital designers and the public at large rediscover a true original artform, handmade by master glass benders and high voltage artisans.

Our guide into this vibrant world is the brilliant Molly Rae, the bona fide ‘neon brat’ and sassy daughter of a genuine hipster dad, Jeff Friedman, owner of one of the most iconic neon studios in North America, Let There Be Neon, located in the fashion- conscious Tribeca district of New York City.

As a youngster, Molly spent her weekends in the fuzzy glow of neon and argon, unspooling her electric dreams in the pages of her sketchbooks while her dad directed his top team of neon mavericks in the busy shop.

Today, Molly guides and shapes her client’s visions as they evolve from dream to reality, and the birth of stunning custom creations, with Jeff always by her side.
